By booking an appointment with Maddox Massage, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These are in place to ensure a smooth, respectful, and professional experience for everyone.

1. About Us

Maddox Massage is a sole trader business offering massage therapy and physiotherapy services in Llangollen, UK. Services are provided by Ryan, a qualified therapist holding a Level 3 ITEC Extended Diploma in Sports Massage and Soft Tissue Therapy and a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy.

2. Booking Appointments

Appointments can be booked online via our website, by phone, or in person. You’ll receive a confirmation email or text once your booking is complete.

Please arrive on time. If you’re running late, let us know as soon as possible. Sessions will end at the scheduled time to accommodate other clients and there are no refunds for time missed due to this.

3. Payment Terms

Payment is due at the time of booking or immediately after your session. We accept cash, debit/credit cards, and online payments through secure platforms.

Receipts are available upon request and can be used for insurance or health benefit claims where applicable.

4. Cancellation Policy

We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This allows us to offer your slot to someone else.

Less than 24 hours’ notice or no-shows may be charged the full session fee.

Emergencies and unforeseen situations will be considered fairly.

5. Health and Safety

You must inform us of any relevant medical conditions, injuries, or health concerns before your treatment. This ensures we can provide the safest and most effective care.

Treatments may be declined or adjusted based on health considerations. If you are unsure whether massage or physiotherapy is suitable for you, please consult your GP or healthcare provider.

6. Client Conduct

We ask all clients to behave respectfully. Any inappropriate behaviour, language, or conduct will result in immediate termination of the session and refusal of future services.

Maddox Massage provides a professional therapeutic service only.

7. Therapist Rights

We reserve the right to:

- Refuse or terminate treatment if it is unsafe or inappropriate to proceed

- Modify or cancel appointments due to illness, emergencies, or unforeseen circumstances

- Change pricing or services with reasonable notice (current prices will always be honoured for existing bookings)

8. Gift Vouchers and Promotions

Gift vouchers must be used within the expiry period stated (usually 12 months from purchase). Promotions cannot be combined unless otherwise stated.

9. Liability

While all care is taken during treatment, Maddox Massage is not liable for any injury or adverse effect arising from undisclosed health information or failure to follow post-treatment advice.

We are fully insured through a recognised UK provider for public and professional liability.

10. Data Protection

All personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Your data is stored securely and used only for the purposes of treatment, communication, and bookings.

11. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of UK courts.
